PlayStation 4 Full Metal Panic! Fight! Who Dares Wins Specialist BOX

The battle over the Whispered reaches its climax

Full Metal Panic!, a landmark of science-fiction action, receives its first standalone home-console game as excitement builds around the anime Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory. This tactical simulation RPG portrays the fierce conflict between Mithril, the world's strongest armed organization, and Amalgam, the vast organization manipulating events from behind the scenes, along with the immediacy of battlefields fought over by humanoid weapons called Arm Slaves.

Development is handled by B.B. Studio, familiar from the Super Robot Wars series. Protagonist Sousuke Sagara begins a lonely struggle to recover heroine Kaname Chidori after she is taken away by Amalgam.

Tactical sections bring Arm Slave warfare to life

Arm Slaves clash intensely on varied battlefields that also appear in the original work. Different weapon types offer different characteristics: some allow you to select the body part to attack, while others compensate for low accuracy through a greater number of hits.

The game uses an action-order system rather than conventional turns. Factors such as your weapons' total weight and the action most recently taken influence the order of actions. Choosing weapons to suit the operation is the key to victory.

Scenario sections supervised by Shoji Gatoh

Amalgam finally begins acting in earnest, inflicting severe damage on Mithril, and the story surrounding the Whispered moves dramatically forward. The setting shifts from Jindai High School to the Southeast Asian city of Nam Sak.

New battlefields and new encounters make the story increasingly intense, portrayed through abundant character voices and a varied selection of event illustrations under the supervision of original author Shoji Gatoh.
