Pokemon Animation

What does it mean to be a parent and child? What does it mean to raise someone? Deep in the jungle, far from human settlements, lies Okoya Forest: a Pokémon paradise protected by strict rules. Zarude, a stubborn Pokémon living there with its companions, discovers a human baby by the river. Unable to abandon the child, it breaks the forest’s rules, names him Koko and leaves the troop so that the two can live together.

Ten years pass as a Pokémon raises a human. Koko meets Ash and Pikachu when they arrive in Okoya Forest, making his first human friend. Having always believed himself to be a Pokémon, he slowly begins to question who he is. “Dad, am I human?” Is he a Pokémon, or a human being? While Koko struggles with these questions, the footsteps of unwelcome humans approach the forest—and their peaceful lives are transformed.

This standard edition includes the opening and ending without credits, illustrated design materials, idea sketches, an image-visual gallery and trailers.
