Rent-A-Girlfriend Animation

Hopeless university student Kazuya Kinoshita meets the elegant rental girlfriend Chizuru Mizuhara and lies to both his family and friends, claiming that she is his real girlfriend. Unable to tell the truth, he finds himself surrounded by other unforgettable girls: his mischievous ex-girlfriend Mami Nanami, whose sudden advances leave him guessing; Ruka Sarashina, his intensely enthusiastic and sometimes forceful provisional girlfriend; and Sumi Sakurasawa, a younger rental girlfriend who is extremely shy but earnest and hardworking.

From drinking parties and trips to the beach to hot-spring holidays, Christmas and New Year, each new occasion strengthens Kazuya’s feelings for Chizuru. Then she makes a confession that threatens to overturn their relationship: she is thinking of quitting her rental-girlfriend job. Their shining, real-yet-rented romantic life begins again, with the second season taking its excitement and romantic tension to new heights.

The illustrated sleeve depicts the heroines during their time off, inviting a fresh look at how they have changed since the first season. Video extras include the creditless opening, Chizuru’s character promotional video, Rent-a-Girlfriend Petit episodes 1–3, Date Movie Chizuru SELECT and Kanokari Call Chizuru SELECT.
