Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Anime

Past and present lives intersect in an otherworldly reincarnation fantasy. The hit fantasy finally becomes an anime! Rio seeks to become the strongest so that he can take revenge, but a chain of encounters with other people accelerates his destiny. A sweeping story unfolds as his previous and present lives intertwine.

A boy with two sets of memories confronts his fate. Orphaned when his mother was murdered during his childhood, Rio struggles to survive in the slums. One day, the memories of Haruto Amakawa, who died in an accident while dreaming of reuniting with his childhood friend, and an immense magical power awaken within him. Rio realizes that he has been reincarnated into another world of swords and magic.

After contributing to the resolution of a princess's kidnapping that he happens to encounter, he is admitted to a prestigious academy attended by the children of the nobility. Rising from the very bottom of a class-bound society, Rio forges through encounters and partings as he strives to overcome a harsh destiny.

The Blu-ray contains episodes 1 through 6, running 142 minutes, with approximately 25 minutes of extras. These include opening and ending sequences without credits and all twelve episodes of the miniature anime Celia-sensei's Exciting Magical Classroom.
