What matters is living today. Another day of demon slaying by the River Sanzu.

The story takes place during Shogun Iemitsu's reign. Edo, which should have been peaceful, is thrown into confusion by undead beings called furanjin. Rising from graves, they attack the townspeople in search of living flesh. Anyone bitten becomes a furanjin and loses their sanity. As these beings multiply, their terror threatens people's lives.

Genshiro Kusaka, played by Hiroki Suzuki, and the death god Juran, played by Kentaro Yasui, encounter a girl who has lost her memory, played by Rei Seimiya. She asks them to find out who she is. Since she cannot even recall her name, they call her Hana and begin investigating her past.

An ominous flute sounds. The shadow of the sorcerer Kuma, played by Ryo Kitamura, draws closer, along with the hatred and resentment embodied in the furanjin. Genshiro and Juran join forces with Shinnosuke Shoji, played by Tsubasa Sakiyama, and the rest of the Kihachi family to confront Kuma's conspiracy. The Ranzanto sword must now sever the ever-expanding pandemic of curses.

The Blu-ray contains the main film, with teaser and trailer footage.
