Die Wergelder

Sirius KC Die Wergelder Vol. 3 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Hiroaki Samura, published by Kodansha under the Sirius KC label.

Sex and death rage through a homeland that has been sullied. How could you keep from howling, you bitch?! From Germany to China, and then Japan! A mysterious murder in a Chinese red-light district eventually becomes linked to the theft of cash within a major Japanese organized-crime syndicate. On an isolated island known as "Prostitution Island," those connections erupt in an unexpected shower of sparks! Hiroaki Samura, the exquisite artist behind the neo-period drama Blade of the Immortal, perfectly fuses eros and violence in this rebellious bad-girl action and immoral entertainment. Not feminine charm, but violence! That is a woman's way of life. From Germany to China, and then Japan! One bad girl thought she had severed her ties to the yakuza's turf wars. Through some twist of fate, she now has to disguise herself as a prostitute and set foot again on the soil of her hometown, transformed into Prostitution Island, not yet knowing that anger like a blazing explosion will send her blood surging backward. Hiroaki Samura, creator of Blade of the Immortal and Wave, Listen to Me!, knowingly flouts propriety to deliver transgressive entertainment. This is rebellious bad-girl action! Two heartwarming side stories are included as a bonus!

This Japanese paper edition contains 226 pages and was released in Japan on November 22, 2016.
