Die Wergelder

Sirius KC Die Wergelder Vol. 6 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Hiroaki Samura, published by Kodansha under the Sirius KC label.

Sworn enemies have fallen into traps of their own. At the riverbank of limbo below, they compete to stack stones of killing and sin! From Germany to China, and then Japan! A mysterious murder in a Chinese red-light district eventually becomes linked to the theft of cash within a major Japanese organized-crime syndicate. On an isolated island known as "Prostitution Island," those connections erupt in an unexpected shower of sparks! Hiroaki Samura, the exquisite artist behind the neo-period drama Blade of the Immortal and Wave, Listen to Me!, perfectly fuses eros and violence in the definitive rebellious bad-girl action and immoral entertainment! Is an ecstatic death that unfailingly ends the lives of irredeemable villains a form of salvation for evil? Only a life can atone for sins this heavy. From Germany to China, and then Japan! The avenger Nami has been abducted. Meanwhile, the assassin Jie Mao's loyalty to her pharmaceutical-company masters is wavering. At the same moment, these two women, who once tried to kill one another, learn of the darkness hidden on the island, a darkness that no one who discovers it can ever leave the island alive. Hiroaki Samura, creator of Blade of the Immortal and Wave, Listen to Me!, stacks one stone for women, and two stones for women, to create transgressive entertainment. This is rebellious bad-girl action!
