Samurai Shodown Clarice Disc Game Music

SNK’s Arcade Sound Digital Collection brings music from its extensive arcade catalogue to CD through new digital recordings. Beginning in the first year of Reiwa, the project set out to select games from SNK’s enormous catalogue and release one title every month for twenty-four months.

The fourteenth volume features the music of two middle-period Samurai Shodown titles, Samurai Shodown III and Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa’s Revenge. These ambitious entries renewed the series through stronger presentation and visuals, new systems and additional characters. Discover the distinctive Samurai Shodown sound built around Japanese instruments, including battle music that also serves as each character’s theme.

The collection uses new digital recordings made directly from arcade boards, seeking to present their sound sources with the greatest possible clarity. The recordings contain the sounds present on those boards.
