Sound! Euphonium Animation

The journey becomes the next piece of music. After ten years following high school students devoted to concert band, Sound! Euphonium reaches its final movement. Following the emotional 2024 television finale of Sound! Euphonium 3, the story returns to cinemas in 2026. Refined animation, a newly written scenario and numerous new scenes expand the experience, including musical performances not shown in the television series. The curtain rises on the final year that brings the anime’s decade-long journey together.

Having cleared the demanding Kansai competition and secured a place at the nationals, Kitauji High School’s concert band carries its momentum onto the school festival stage. The performance embodies the enjoyment Mayu treasures for everyone, leaving her conflicted about whether that ideal clashes with Kitauji’s meritocracy and its promise of equal opportunity.

Meanwhile, Kumiko practises with two wishes in her heart: to achieve the band’s long-held dream of national gold as its president, and to play the soli alongside Reina. Whether they laugh or cry, this is their final chance. The day arrives for the audition that will decide who performs at the national competition.

The standard edition includes a newly illustrated slipcase and digipak with a twenty-page special booklet. Bonus footage features the premiere screening event, a special preview of the second part, interstitial films and trailers, alongside staff and cast audio commentaries.
