takt op.Destiny Universal Music Anime Music

The original soundtrack to takt op.Destiny features music by Yoshihiro Ike, whose work has received the Japan Media Arts Festival Animation Division Grand Prize and a Japan Academy Film Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Music.

This edition expands the soundtrack with a compilation of classical masterpieces associated with the anime and newly recorded character conversations. Takt, Destiny, Anna, Titan and Lenny explore the music in greater depth, sharing fascinating details about classical music. The accompanying performances, including Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Fate, and Mahler's Symphony No. 1, Titan, are selected from Deutsche Grammophon's distinguished recordings.

The original anime grew out of the takt op. project, a story of the destinies of girls who possess the power of classical scores. It drew a major response after its television broadcast and streaming launch in October 2021.
