There is no day or night at the Tasokare Hotel: it remains bathed in twilight. Existing between life and death, it gives wandering souls a place to rest while they decide whether to move on to the next world or return to the living.

Neko Tsukahara arrives without remembering who she is or why she has come. The hotel’s eccentric staff show her to a guest room. They explain that it should contain objects connected to her memories, clues that may help her recover what she has forgotten. As she explores the hotel and begins to remember herself in the hope of returning to the real world, an unexpected incident confronts her.

The fourth and final Blu-ray volume contains episodes ten to twelve, with a retrospective audio commentary for episode twelve. It includes an eight-page booklet and a new jacket illustration of Neko, Atori, Osoto, the Manager, Ruri, Menou and Kiriko by character designer Yuko Hariba.
