The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Animation

The everyday fantasy of a part-time Demon King continues! The popular novel series had passed 3.5 million copies in circulation when its long-awaited second anime season continued the story that first attracted attention on television in 2013. Studio 3Hz, known for Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, brings this down-to-earth fantasy to the screen. New characters include Alas Ramus, a mysterious little girl who emerges from an apple—leading the Demon King and the Hero into the unexpected challenges of childcare. Ryota Osaka, Yoko Hikasa, Nao Toyama and the returning cast reunite.

Once the Demon King and the Hero of Ente Isla, Sadao Maou and Emi Yusa have settled into Japanese life, yet still struggle against the rough currents of the economy. After the battle with Raguel and his companions, everyday life returns to Sasazuka. The renovations at MgRonald are finished, and Maou is delighted to return to work. As he sets his sights on new goals as a crew member, another assassin arrives from Ente Isla. With a single six-tatami room serving as the Demon King’s castle, the turbulent second act continues.

This fourth volume contains episodes nineteen to twenty-four. Original character designer 029 provides a new illustration for the slipcase, while Yudai Iino supplies new digipack artwork. A special booklet accompanies cast audio commentaries for episodes twenty-three and twenty-four and the creditless ending sequence.
