My Hero Academia Epic Records Japan Anime Music

The three-piece band the peggies presents Ashiato, a direct, impassioned rock song about parting, growth, life, and the pain of accepting one’s own weakness. Yuho Kitazawa’s far-reaching voice conveys the determination to face an uncertain sense of identity and keep moving forward, even while accepting the parts of oneself that are difficult to love. Its exhilarating guitar-rock sound gives that resolve a powerful sense of momentum.

Chosen as the ending theme for the fifth season of My Hero Academia, the song drew attention both in Japan and abroad.
