My Hero Academia Stage & Musicals

My Hero Academia The Ultra Stage: Honmono no Eiyu PLUS ULTRA ver. arrives on Blu-ray! This powered-up complete version expands the Honmono no Eiyu stage production performed in March 2020.

Known as Hiroste, the production adapts the hit manga My Hero Academia, serialised in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. In a world where roughly eighty percent of the population is born with a supernatural ability called a Quirk, many young people dream of becoming heroes who protect people and society from accidents, disasters and villains who misuse their powers. Izuku Midoriya, known as Deku, is born without a Quirk. He enters U.A. High School, a prestigious school that trains heroes, and grows towards becoming a fully fledged hero.

During the sports festival, the older brother of Deku’s classmate Tenya Iida is attacked by a villain in Hosu City. While Deku and the other Hero Course students head out for work experience with professional heroes, Iida, burning to avenge his brother, requests a hero agency in Hosu. The action moves to Hosu, where the Hero Killer Stain appears!

The production was performed at Tokyo Dome City Hall from December 3 to 12, 2021 and at Kyoto Theatre from December 24 to 26, 2021. Curtain-call and backstage footage offers a further look at the production, alongside a panoramic recording of the performance.
