The Quintessential Quintuplets Animation

The quintuplets’ romantic comedy returns with 500% cuteness for its honeymoon chapter. This long-awaited episode is animated from an original concept by Negi Haruba and under his complete supervision, following Futaro and the quintuplets in their adult lives.

Working as a part-time tutor, Futaro successfully guided the five beautiful sisters, who disliked studying and were on the verge of failing, all the way to graduation. They have since followed their own paths and fulfilled their dreams, yet each appears to have something on her mind. Futaro and the quintuplets plan a trip to Hawaii that will also serve as a honeymoon. Preparations are proceeding smoothly when an unexpected incident throws everything into confusion—and trouble awaits them in Hawaii, too.

The package features newly drawn anime artwork on the digipak, a special clear sleeve, a sparkling visual board of the quintuplets in Hawaii, a Hawaii memory-photo print and a special booklet. The visual board uses Negi Haruba’s colour illustration published in Weekly Shonen Magazine’s 2024 issue 42 and also featured in the ending animation.

Alongside the television special, the bonus programme includes the theatrical edit first screened from September 20, 2024, before the TV broadcast, plus footage from the release-celebration stage appearance at Shinjuku Wald 9 on September 21. Trailers, a long promotional video and creditless opening and ending animations complete the collection.
