The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent Anime

New miracles born of sacred magic. Where will Sei's story as the Saint lead?

With more than five million copies in circulation, this dream of a leisurely life in another world, told through a relatable heroine, returns for a second season that began broadcasting in October 2023. The total combines print books and e-books as of June 2023.

The original The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent began on Shosetsuka ni Naro before publication by Kadokawa BOOKS. The first season, broadcast in April 2021, won over readers with Sei's achievements using her special Saint powers, her interactions with appealing characters and a romance worth dreaming about: a story that offered viewers comfort and happiness. It concluded to warm acclaim, gaining recognition in Europe, America and Asia as well as Japan. Season 2 follows further accomplishments for Sei and new developments in her love life.

Lavish first-production extras were announced, including a booklet with a newly written story by original author Yuka Tachibana. Each booklet was also advertised with new illustrations by manga-adaptation artist Fujiazuki and spin-off manga artist Aoagu. An outer case newly illustrated by original illustrator Yasuyuki Syuri adds to the special packaging.

Story One day, Sei, an office worker in her twenties, is suddenly summoned to another world as a Saint. Drawing on her longstanding love of plants, she begins working at the Medicinal Flora Research Institute. Her earnest devotion to work combines with her Saint powers, and she keeps producing potions that are fifty percent more effective.

During monster extermination, she also unleashes extraordinarily powerful purification magic, sending her reputation soaring. Officially recognized as the Saint, she earns people's respect as the saviour of the Kingdom of Slantania.

Supporting and watching over her are Johan and Jude at the institute, Yuri of the court mages, and Albert, the Ice Knight. Sei and Albert are drawn to one another but have yet to become lovers.

Even after becoming the kingdom's most important person, Sei remains absorbed in research. Her relationship with Albert gradually deepens, and a new turn in their romance begins.
