The World Ends with You Animation

Neku wakes up at Shibuya’s scramble crossing, but he is in the UG, an Underground dimension overlapping the real city. Without understanding why, he has become a participant in the Reapers’ Game. He meets Shiki, another player, and they form a partnership.

Facing unreasonable missions and attacks from creatures known as Noise, Neku draws closer to the truth hidden within the Reapers’ Game and his own memories. Only those who can trust their partners will survive. Can they make it through?

The second volume of The World Ends with You The Animation includes creditless opening and ending sequences and audio commentaries for episodes 7 and 12. It comes with a booklet and a special slipcase featuring newly drawn artwork by chief character designer Arisa Matsuura.
