The concluding chapter of the episode hailed as the original manga’s most moving story. Across its two parts, Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween attracted more than 3.75 million cinemagoers and exceeded five billion yen at the Japanese box office.

The films ranked first among Japanese live-action films for four consecutive weeks, bringing the Tokyo Revengers whirlwind back across Japan. Bloody Halloween fully adapts the story of the Tokyo Manji Gang’s founding members, their bonds, loss and fierce battles. Ken Wakui’s hugely popular manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine after its 2017 debut, had surpassed 70 million copies in circulation as of January 2023. Its long-awaited sequel becomes a live-action film.

Tokyo Revengers was Japan’s biggest live-action domestic film hit of 2021. Two years later, its acclaimed cast reunites with new members, stronger than ever. Bloody Halloween, one of the original manga’s most stirring episodes, is adapted in full across the first part, Destiny, and the concluding part, Decisive Battle. Hinata, whom Takemichi thought he had saved, is killed again by a Tokyo Manji Gang that has become vicious, this time before his eyes. The key to bringing her back lies in a tragic past event that tore apart the six founding members, and in a terrible battle between former friends that begins in an attempt to right that twisted destiny. Can Takemichi change Hinata’s fate and his friends’ futures this time? Their fierce determination to keep fighting, however often they are broken, for loved ones and the future they believe in is sure to move viewers to tears.

“I’ll save you, no matter what! Again and again! Until I reach a future where Hina is alive, I’ll never give up!” His former girlfriend Hinata is killed once more, before his eyes. To save her, he must confront the tragedy that shattered six companions who were each willing to risk their lives for the others. Why are former best friends now destined to fight? On October 31, Halloween, a brutal clash between them finally begins, threatening to destroy the Tokyo Manji Gang. Past tragedies intersect as their bonds fracture. “I don’t want anyone else to die!” Can Takemichi stop the worst possible ending and save Hinata and the gang’s future?
