Tune In to the Midnight Heart Animation

Late at night, alone on his bed, her voice was his only comfort. Arisu Yamabuki declares that he will make all four girls’ dreams of working with their voices come true, fulfilling the promise he once exchanged with Apollo. His story with these girls, who pursue their dreams with unwavering dedication, begins.

The anime adapts Masakuni Igarashi’s Tune In to the Midnight Heart, serialised in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, with more than 510,000 copies in circulation.

A wealthy heir who seeks perfection in everything, Arisu searches for the final one percent that will make him completely perfect. That missing piece is Apollo, the presenter of the radio broadcast he used to listen to almost every night. The broadcasts abruptly stopped at the end of the first year of middle school. He knows neither her face nor her real name. His only clue is her voice.

In the spring of his second year of high school, Arisu enrols at Furin High School to find the streamer who disappeared. Following a familiar voice, he rushes into the broadcasting club, where four girls each dream of a career involving their voices.

Volume one contains episodes one through three. Its bonus CD brings together Furin High School Broadcasting Club — After School Radio Volume 1 and Rikka Inohana’s solo version of “Bus ja Tsuki ni Ikenakute.” The radio feature centres on listeners’ feelings about the club members and their questions for the advice corner.

Creditless opening and ending sequences are also included.
