Magi Epic Records Japan Anime Music

ViViD’s seventh single, Hikari, is the opening theme for Magi: The Kingdom of Magic. Since forming in April 2009, the rock band had developed rapidly: every major-label single and album had entered the Oricon weekly Top 10, their first Nippon Budokan concert succeeded within their first major-label year, and their Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka hall tour drew enthusiastic crowds.

Arriving about ten months after ANSWER as the band’s first release of 2014, Hikari points toward a new era for ViViD.
