The Three Kingdoms strategist Zhuge Kongming has found a new calling in modern Shibuya: helping aspiring singer Eiko Tsukimi reach an audience and pursuing peace through music. This live-action film brings the television adaptation of Tato Yotsuba and Ryo Ogawa's manga to a large-scale music competition, where Japan's three leading labels, KEY TIME, SSS and V-EX, face off for supremacy.

Kongming and Eiko enter a field filled with formidable performers, only to meet Jun and Shin Shiba, siblings descended from Kongming's ancient rival Sima Yi. An eighteen-century-old rivalry finds a new arena as strategy and music collide. The film features eighteen songs, with more than fifty musicians and dancers taking part in performances staged before an audience of over six thousand.

Osamu Mukai returns as Kongming opposite Moka Kamishiraishi as Eiko, with Mirai Moriyama as BB Lounge owner Kobayashi and Dean Fujioka as Liu Bei. Fuju Kamio and Utaha join a cast including Ryubi Miyase, Rikako Yagi, Mandy Sekiguchi, Win Morisaki, Kyujitsu Kacho, Huwie Ishizaki, ELLY, Avu-chan of Queen Bee, Koharu Sugawara, Cookie!, DJ KOO, Toshihiro Wada, Ryosuke Nagaoka, Takanori Iwata, Seiya Kamei, &TEAM, Mamoru Miyano and Rinko Kikuchi. Shuhei Shibue directs, with a screenplay by Nonji Nemoto and music by Naoyuki Chikatani.

The Blu-ray contains the approximately 117-minute feature together with teaser and theatrical trailers. Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio is available in 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo, alongside a Japanese audio-description track in DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. Accessible Japanese subtitles are included.
