Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Original Soundtrack Ongakuhen accompanies the story set more than fifteen years after the final episode of Inuyasha: The Final Act, focusing on the next generation of its main characters.

Kaoru Wada, who also composed the Inuyasha series' music, returns for this soundtrack. Rumiko Takahashi, responsible for the principal character designs, provides newly drawn jacket artwork.

The two-CD release uses LP-sized packaging to showcase Takahashi's illustration. The discs contain 58 tracks; this is a CD edition, not a vinyl record.
