An album tracing Yui Makino’s journey across record-label boundaries. One side recreates in the studio the songs she and her fans have developed together in concert, recorded with the musicians who support her live performances. It includes seven newly recorded selections. The other side brings together recordings on which Makino also plays piano, including A WINTER STORY, the precious recording she made as an eight-year-old pianist for Shunji Iwai’s film Love Letter, and a newly recorded voice-and-piano performance of Almeria, heard for the first time on this album. The exhilarating concert-style material and the peaceful sound of the piano reveal two sides of her music. Eight recordings are new, while all previously released material is remastered for a further power-up.
