Jakko-tai Stage Production Blu-ray follows the outlaw unit on a new musical period adventure, continuing Toei's linked film-and-theatre project. This standalone edition records the stage production performed in August and September 2024.

Ordered to recover an abducted shogunate official, the team travels with the court physician to an isolated island, carrying a Tokugawa treasure as ransom. Pirates attack during the crossing and steal the treasure, leaving the unit to improvise when it finally reaches its destination.

The island is ruled through sorcery by Queen Tekona, while its inhabitants worship the mysterious Tokoyogami. Discovering that the pirates belong to the island community, the unit's leader proposes a bargain with the queen. Surume, however, is troubled by secrets he has long concealed. As Tekona's identity and Surume's forbidden past emerge, the rescue operation uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the whole country. The assassin Tatara's unexpected presence adds another danger to an already desperate mission.

Ryuji Sato appears alongside Nichika Akutsu, Shohei Hashimoto, Shin Koyanagi and Tomoki Hirose. Nobuhiro Mori adapts and directs the stage work from the script by Mayu Konishi, with music by Shunsuke Wada and lyrics by Shoko Fujibayashi.

The approximately 137-minute production is presented on one region-free Blu-ray in 16:9 1080i, with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
