Kamen Rider Blade TV Series

Kamen Rider Blade returns in an affordable Blu-ray package twenty years after its January 2004–January 2005 television broadcast. Ten thousand years ago, the immortal Undead were sealed in fifty-three cards. Somebody discovered those cards, broke their seals and revived the creatures in the modern world. Wearing special reinforced suits developed by the Board of Archaeological Research Department, the Kamen Riders fight to seal them in cards once more.

The cast features Takayuki Tsubaki, Ryoji Morimoto, Kousei Amano, Takahiro Hojo, Yumi Egawa and Terunosuke Takezai. The original work is by Shotaro Ishinomori. Video has been upconverted from standard-definition source material to high definition. Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio is provided, without subtitles.

Series disc 1 contains episodes 1–6, disc 2 contains 7–11 and disc 3 contains 12–16. Disc 1 extras include the Blade vs Blade super-battle video, a production-announcement press-conference digest, trailers, promotional footage and junctions. Disc 2 includes archival interviews with Tsubaki and Takezai, then Morimoto and Hikari Kajiwara, with trailers, promotional footage and junctions. Disc 3 includes interviews with Amano and Rei Yoshida, then Hojo and Arisa Miyazawa, plus trailers, promotional footage and junctions. Archival interviews were previously included on DVD.

Three region-free Blu-rays contain 375minutes across sixteen episodes. The conditional first-press sixteen-page booklet with Tsubaki and Morimoto interviews is identical to the 2015 box booklet and is not guaranteed.
