The immensely popular Moriarty the Patriot musical series, acclaimed since its first opening, brings its fourth production, The Two Criminals, to home video! London at the end of the nineteenth century, at the height of the British Empire's Pax Britannica: an entrenched, absolute class system lets the upper classes rule the empire. Status fixed for life at birth inevitably produces discrimination. Amid this society, a young man seeks to remove the evil of the class system and build an ideal nation. This is the story of James Moriarty—or Sherlock Holmes's nemesis.

The first movement, The Knight of London, asks who the Lord of Crime really is: a hero, villain, noble outlaw or criminal? As rumors spread, parliamentarian Whiteley, played by Kazuma Kawahara, attracts attention for his fight for equality. William, played by Shogo Suzuki, shares his aspirations and entrusts him with evidence capable of cornering the House of Lords to test his resolve. With the schemes of the king of blackmail Milverton, played by Ray Fujita, closing in, what action will Whiteley choose now that he possesses this powerful evidence?

The second movement is The Sign of Four. “We're getting married.” John, played by Kenta Kamakari, suddenly introduces his fiancée Mary, played by Yuka Yamauchi. She carries an inexplicable mystery: her father's disappearance in her childhood, a gift of one pearl arriving every year, and now an anonymous letter asking for a meeting. Sherlock, played by Ryo Hirano, steps into that mystery while unable to shake his misgivings about her. Then the incident leads to the third movement, The Two Criminals: William the Lord of Crime, Sherlock the great detective and Milverton the king of blackmail. Who is being made to dance upon this stage?

The two-disc edition includes the main performance and a bonus Blu-ray. The approximately 195 minutes of final bonus footage comprise backstage material, daily-changing scenes, wide-angle views of eight selected songs, a special onstage-angle package edit and highlights from Op.1, Op.2 and Op.3. Contents, names and specifications may change without notice.
