All three hit television series in a long-awaited box The original Overlord web-novel series has become hugely popular, with more than eleven million copies of the books in circulation. The first television anime aired in 2015, followed by successful theatrical compilation films, re-edited from the television series, in 2017. The second television season began in January 2018, and the third began in July that year. Their immense scale and high-quality visuals, worthy of this fearsome dark fantasy, won fans in Japan and overseas. The original books and related merchandise were also major successes. This fan-awaited Blu-ray Box, announced for June 2022, records that grand journey.

A reprint of A Day of the Pleiades The novel A Day of the Pleiades, written by original author Kugane Maruyama and originally given to cinema visitors for the compilation film Overlord: The Undead King, is reprinted here. The release announcement invites fans not to miss this valuable bonus, previously available only as a theatrical visitor gift.

Story Give praise. It is the year 2138. The hugely popular immersive virtual-reality online game Yggdrasil is approaching the end of its service. Momonga, one of its players, waits quietly and alone in the Great Tomb of Nazarick, the headquarters where he and his companions once flourished. Yet, even after the service's scheduled closing time, something abnormal happens: he is not logged out. The NPCs begin to move with wills of their own, and outside Nazarick stretches an unfamiliar world. To search for his former companions, Momonga takes the name of their guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, and resolves to make that name resound throughout this other world.

Ended retailer and preorder campaigns The original Kadokawa Store exclusive canvas-art gift has ended and is not included. Its original terms stated that it would be packed with the product while supplies lasted and that edition could change. The early preorder campaign, Marvel at the Majestic Appearance of the Wise King of the Forest!, has also ended.
