Japan versus Germany—the curtain rises on a fierce battle!

The second anime instalment of The Prince of Tennis U-17 World Cup brings the intense showdown with Germany from the U-17 World Cup arc, serialised in Jump SQ., to the screen. The dramatic, passionate matches pit Ryoma and Japan against the powerful German team to which Kunimitsu Tezuka now belongs.

After defeating the formidable French team in the U-17 World Cup, Ryoma and his fellow Japanese representatives advance to the semifinals. Waiting for them is Germany, the world’s strongest, number-one team, led by the professional tennis player Volk. Germany’s lineup also includes Tezuka, with whom they once shared both hardship and joy at training camp.

Facing Germany’s overwhelming strength, each member of Team Japan strives to improve and evolve. Japan versus Germany—the fierce battle begins!
