Drifting Dragons

Afternoon KC Drifting Dragons Vol. 20 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Taku Kuwabara, published by Kodansha under the Afternoon KC label.

Draking vessels, ships built to catch dragons, have become rare, and the Quin Zaza is one of them. The crew learns that another draking vessel, the Mekkira Morn, which carries their crewmate Jiro's father, has set sail in pursuit of Vritra, the Black Emperor of the Southern Skies, rumored to live on the Antarctic Plateau. No dragon hunt in the harsh conditions of the polar regions has ever succeeded. Fired up at the prospect of becoming the first in the world to do it, the Zaza's crew heads for the Antarctic Plateau, determined not to lose to the Morn! But then comes word that the Morn has been brought down there. To rescue its crew, including Jiro's father, and to capture Vritra, the Zaza finally enters the Antarctic Plateau! Both the hardships and the delicious discoveries are fresher than ever in volume twenty! © Taku Kuwabara 2025
