Space Battleship Yamato Anime

A mysterious missile-shaped object enters the solar system in 2202, destroys the Mars base and leaves Earth’s capital under occupation. The surviving Yamato crew members gather at Hero’s Hill and attempt to escape to their ship on the asteroid Icarus, but Yuki Mori is struck by enemy fire during the flight. With Earth facing a new threat, the crew must return Yamato to action.

Be Forever Yamato comes in a 32 cm square jacket in the EMOTION Big Jacket Collection. The approximately 150-minute film retains its Warp Dimension presentation, shifting from a standard-shaped frame to widescreen scope, with an alternative vista-to-scope viewing mode available. Approximately nine minutes of extras include a teaser and theatrical trailer, while extracts from the original theatrical programme are reproduced as still-image material.

Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio stereo and mono tracks are included. This Blu-ray has no subtitles.
