Chainsaw Man Animation

Denji lives as a devil hunter alongside Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil. Burdened by the debt his parents left behind, he struggles in poverty until a betrayal leaves him dead. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and returns to life as Chainsaw Man, a being with a devil’s heart.

MAPPA’s television adaptation drew intense attention even before its broadcast. Volume 1 contains episodes 1–3 and comes in a special case featuring newly drawn MAPPA artwork, with a special booklet.

The supplementary programme presents the creditless opening “KICK BACK,” the first episode’s special ending “CHAINSAW BLOOD,” and the creditless endings “Zanki” and “Hawatari Nioku Centi.” It also includes the world-premiere stage greeting, the pre-broadcast TV Anime Chainsaw Man Thorough Dissection Special, a cast roundtable, and the complete Our Music discussion with Vaundy and Aimer.
