Chainsaw Man Animation

Denji lives as a devil hunter alongside Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil. Burdened by the debt his parents left behind, he struggles in poverty until a betrayal leaves him dead. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and returns to life as Chainsaw Man, a being with a devil’s heart.

MAPPA’s television adaptation drew intense attention even before its broadcast. Volume 2 contains episodes 4–6 and comes in a special case featuring newly drawn MAPPA artwork. The special booklet includes interviews with TOOBOE, syudou and Kanaria.

The supplementary programme presents the creditless endings “Jōzai,” “In the Back Room” and “Dainōteki na Rendezvous,” an Our Music discussion with TOOBOE and syudou, and a Public Safety Special Division 4 roundtable featuring Mariya Ise, Karin Takahashi and Taku Yashiro.
