Classroom of the Elite Animation

The first-year arc reaches its conclusion. The eagerly awaited third season of Classroom of the Elite began in January 2024, continuing the hugely popular school drama.

The MF Bunko J light-novel series has exceeded eight million four hundred thousand copies in circulation, including electronic editions, while its manga adaptation continues in Comic Alive. Following the success of the first television season in 2017 and the second season, the third brings the turbulent final term of the first year to the screen.

Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School appears to be a dream school, boasting a one-hundred-percent further-education and employment rate and providing points equivalent to one hundred thousand yen every month. In reality, it places ability above everything else, and only some high achievers receive favourable treatment.

As the third term begins, Ayanokoji and his classmates, newly promoted from Class D to Class C, leave for a school camp. There they face a special examination called the mixed training camp, involving students from every year.

Students are divided by gender into groups that must contain members of several different classes. Each group is assessed as a unit. To earn a high score, they must cooperate with classmates from rival classes who until now have been their opponents.

Most alarming of all, groups that fail to reach the required threshold will have members expelled. The curtain rises on a turbulent third term.

Supplementary features include web previews and an audio commentary. The original first-production edition offered an illustrated outer case, an illustrated digipak and a special booklet. These limited physical extras depend on remaining first-production stock and are not guaranteed.
