Crayon Shin-chan Anime

Oh, bravo! I've become a Western hero?!

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Crayon Shin-chan's theatrical films with the project bringing films 1 through 19 to Blu-ray. The many classics previously available only on DVD return with high-quality picture and sound. The 12th film is the series' first Western! It's a silly spaghetti Western masterpiece with a cheeky twist!

Story The Kasukabe Defence Force is playing in the Kasukabe-za cinema when everyone suddenly disappears, leaving behind Shinnosuke, who has gone to the toilet. That night, the Nohara family worries about the missing children and comes to search the cinema. While captivated by the Western playing endlessly on the screen, the family suddenly finds itself standing in the same Western town as the film.

As they wander through town trying to return to Kasukabe, Shinnosuke and his family encounter the Kasukabe Defence Force, now completely changed! Kazama has become a rough sheriff, while Masao and Nene have become a married couple! Everyone has lost their memories of Kasukabe and started new lives. Bo is the only one who still remembers, and they promise to return together. Yet as their stay in this world grows longer, Shinnosuke and the others gradually lose their memories of Kasukabe and settle into life there.

Can Shinnosuke and his family recover their true selves and return to Kasukabe?

Contents and extras The feature film and of video extras: the creditless clay-animation opening, theatrical teaser, trailer and a still-image collection of production designs. An eight-page commentary booklet is enclosed.
