Dengeki Yakuza: Like a Dragon - Ichiban Kasuga's Departure Guide is an official Japanese paper guidebook by Dengeki Game Books Editorial Department, published by Kadokawa under the Dengeki label.

An early strategy guide thoroughly supports a strong start in the new Yakuza adventure and guides the legend of its new dragon, Ichiban Kasuga. Alongside detailed maps of Yokohama's Isezaki Ijincho, explanations of the game systems and story strategies through Chapter 5, it contains a job-change guide for each character and a Sujidex describing enemy characteristics, all aimed at making play smoother. Getting Around Isezaki Ijincho details important locations in the story's Yokohama setting, with multiple special maps useful for gathering items and other collectibles. Ichiban Kasuga's Road to Becoming a Hero explains the basics of exploring the city and battle advice, alongside side content such as substories and play spots, and thoroughly guides the story through Chapter 5. Employment Services Guide explains important points when changing jobs and presents representative jobs available through Chapter 5, with their characteristics, special techniques and the job-change requirements for each character. The Sujidex gathers the many Sujimon encountered in different locations through Chapter 5: the enemy monsters, or so Ichiban and his friends see them.
