Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 O.S.T. 2 reunites the series with vocalist Scott Matthew, a familiar voice from Ghost in the Shell S.A.C.

Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 brings together directors Kenji Kamiyama of Stand Alone Complex and Shinji Aramaki of Appleseed, with animation by Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS. As in season one, the music is composed by Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi, a Japan- and Los Angeles-based duo whose work includes Metal Gear Solid. Their film-scoring approach blends orchestral and electronic music across films and games.

Scott Matthew, who sang on Yoko Kanno's S.A.C. scores, performs Don't Break Me Down, inspired by Kenji Kamiyama. Okinawan electronic artist Caroline Lufkin sings Find Me, while Emi Evans, known for the NieR series and work across games, commercials, television and film, performs 2+2=n.

This second soundtrack combines newly written season-two background music with those three featured songs in a 20-track program, housed in a specially printed digipak.
