The album includes Wilhelm Kempff's recording of the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, selected for this CD rather than the exact recording heard in the film. Three original mono tracks complete the program.

A double-jacket design pairs contemporary video-streaming imagery with a Showa-era poster treatment, accompanied by a five-panel foldout booklet.
