Kamen Rider TV Series

Kamen Rider Amazons was created in 2016, the forty-fifth anniversary of Kamen Rider, as part of Super Hero Year. Taking the ambitious 1974 production Kamen Rider Amazon, which once made such a powerful impression, as its starting point, it is a complete rebirth that inherits the original's wild visuals and action. The legendary staff who built the Heisei Kamen Rider series join forces with a formidable action team to open a new chapter in Kamen Rider history.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Kamen Rider Amazons, this special Blu-ray box brings together Season 1, whose thirteen episodes began streaming on April 1, 2016, and Season 2, whose thirteen episodes began streaming on April 7, 2017.

Story Artificial life forms known as Amazons were created through research at a pharmaceutical company. Concealed within human society, they retain human forms yet harbour an instinct to eat human beings.

Haruka Mizusawa, the third kind of Amazon, was born by introducing human genes into Amazon cells. As he confronts the question “Am I human, or am I an Amazon?”, he throws himself into battle as Kamen Rider Amazon Omega. His choices lead him into a fated conflict with Jin Takayama, Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha, who calls for the extermination of all Amazons.

Five years later, a new threat that turns humans into Amazons spreads across the world, and a boy and girl bearing cruel destinies appear. Those who fight to protect, and those who fight to eliminate: as their intentions collide, the story reaches a ferocious conclusion.

Contents All twenty-six episodes.
