Loved for seventeen years, Macross Frontier celebrates the time since its 2008 TV broadcast with a definitive all-time best album. The collection includes Toki no Meikyu, the theme from the short film Macross Frontier: Labyrinth of Time, alongside Sacrifice and Good job!, songs not included on previous albums.

The announcement arrived on November 23, the birthday of Galactic Fairy Sheryl Nome, with the long-awaited release set for April 29, the birthday of Super Dimension Cinderella Ranka Lee. Character designer Risa Ebata provides newly drawn cover artwork.

The Limited Edition adds Deculture Utagassen, an audio drama and cover-song project. To celebrate Alto Saotome's birthday, Sheryl sings Ranka's songs and Ranka sings Sheryl's in an unprecedented karaoke contest. Alto is the sole judge.
