Muv-Luv Alternative Animation

Humanity faces defeat—resist the despair closing in. Muv-Luv Alternative brings the adventure-game series to animation, with more than 800,000 cumulative game sales reported in the release’s original series introduction.

Back in his original world, Takeru Shirogane reunites with Sumika Kagami. He resolves to save the world where war against the BETA continues, so that he can return to her. On December 4, 2001, he sees a news report that the Imperial Army has carried out an operation to rescue former residents who forced their way back into a dangerous area where civilians are forbidden to live. Takeru is pleased that he has managed to shorten the timeline again. Meiya, however, angrily points out that the country forces the burden onto those without power.

This standard-edition box contains episodes 7–12, promotional videos, package commercials and the second-season announcement teaser. Permanent edition features include a three-sided case newly illustrated by character designer Takuya Tani and a special booklet containing design materials and staff interviews.
