Unleash the blood’s impulse

The sequel to the hit dramatic hunting-action series God Eater returns in a more affordable Welcome Price!! edition. Rage Burst originally launched simultaneously for the portable PlayStation Vita and the home-console PlayStation 4, a first for the series. This physical edition is for PlayStation 4.

Alongside new weapons and a substantial sequel story, the new Blood Rage system lets you fulfill self-imposed pledges to unleash immense hidden power. Enjoy a new exhilarating action experience alone or together with your companions.

Become the protagonist, explore the enormous Spiral Tree alongside distinctive characters and rescue your captured companions. The game supports data linking with the previous title’s save data, and PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 players can join multiplayer together.

Fulfill pledges to unleash Blood Rage

During combat, pledge a style of fighting to your weapon, the God Arc. Fulfill the pledge to release its hidden true power. The energy required can accumulate across missions, making the timing of its use crucial during consecutive missions.

New God Arc parts and evolving special attacks

The new scythe-shaped God Arc part, the Variant Scythe, makes its debut. Freely control its reach from close to medium range and defeat powerful opponents.

Blood Arts, the special-attack system introduced in the previous game, returns. Various attacks evolve into special moves according to your play style. More than 100 new Blood Arts bring the total to over 400. Fight your own way to gain further power.

A grand story starring your own character

Flexible character creation lets you make a protagonist who represents you. The selection of clothing and accessories has also evolved.

In addition to the God Eater 2 scenario, the game adds a new sequel story on an equivalent scale. Parts of the earlier scenario and systems have been revised to portray the characters’ emotions more richly. Take your favorite God Arc and fight and grow alongside them.

Enjoy it alone or with everyone

The cooperation of distinctive companion characters brings a multiplayer-like feeling even when playing alone. Multiplayer also supports cross-play between the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 versions.

Data linking with God Eater 2 save data is supported, and Rage Burst save data can be shared between the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 versions.
