Return to the origin. Devour at will.

The acclaimed God Eater Burst receives a major upgrade on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Whether you discovered God Eater through the television anime or have long followed the series, spectacular new action systems and an additional story let you experience its exhilarating combat and moving narrative more deeply.

The original story with the latest systems and graphics

The series' original tale comes vividly to life with beautiful PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita graphics. This substantial story follows the God Eaters' endless battles in a world ravaged by mysterious life forms known as Aragami.

Alongside God Eater Burst's main story, set in a devastated near-future world where God Eaters stand against powerful Aragami, a new after-story becomes available after clearing the game. It reveals what happened afterward, a story that had not previously been told.

A mysterious Aragami with immense power suddenly appears in the Far East. What awaits the First Unit beyond the fierce battles ahead? Animation production is handled by ufotable.

Customize your Predator Styles

Devouring, the action that defines the God Eater name, evolves dramatically. Eat your enemies to strengthen yourself, combining a wide variety of Predator Styles to devour powerful Aragami exactly as you choose.

Styles include devouring from the air, leaping over Aragami, consuming several enemies together and devouring while sliding. Assign your preferred styles to up to five devour actions: Charge, Quick, Combo, Step and Air.

A renewed arch-enemy

Dyaus Pita, the arch-enemy Aragami who plays a major role in the story, is redesigned. This raging god challenges players once more with innovative attacks unlike anything seen before.

Original Cross Play Pack & Anime Vol. 1 contents

Enjoy the anime and the game together in this originally offered value set. Its jacket features new artwork by art director Koichi Itakura and originally contains three items:

  • The God Eater television anime on Blu-ray disc.
  • God Eater Resurrection for PlayStation 4 on a physical game disc.

The original pack was presented as a way to enjoy cross-play between the two systems and the appeal of God Eater as a whole. The publisher distinguishes it from Cross Play Pack & Anime Vol. 2 and later packs, which pair their anime Blu-ray with God Eater Off Shot, a separate game featuring photography and communication with God Eaters in their everyday lives. Off Shot is not included in this Vol. 1 edition.

The PlayStation 4 version is a physical disc.
