The bond between Sonic and you will save the world

Sonic and the resistance rise to restore peace to a world that is 99 percent under Dr. Eggman's control.

Sonic Team, the creators of Sonic Generations and Sonic Lost World, presents this full-fledged 3D action game.

Enjoy an epic story featuring characters from throughout the series as Sonic and his allies race through highly detailed stages rendered with a new game engine, using exhilarating high-speed action.

Three evolved styles of high-speed action

The series' signature exhilarating speed can be enjoyed in three completely different ways: Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic and an Avatar character you customize yourself.

Overcome the mechanisms of varied stages rendered with HEDGEHOG ENGINE 2 through exhilarating action.

An epic story featuring the series' cast

Sonic's resistance army confronts the Eggman army, which controls 99 percent of the world.

Allies gather, including his partner Tails, commander Knuckles, Silver, Vector and Espio.

Opposing them are Eggman's forces, with the mysterious Infinite and familiar antagonists including Shadow, Metal Sonic and Chaos.

An epic story unfolds in the tradition of Sonic Adventure.

Create your own character

For the first time in the series, the Avatar system lets you create a character representing you from hundreds of millions of possible combinations.

Become your Avatar and fulfill the dream of fighting alongside Sonic and his friends.

Equipping any of seven types of Wispon weapons allows your Avatar to explore stages using a range of actions different from Sonic's.

Some stages also require you to work together with Sonic to advance.
