Ridge Racer Sweep Record Game Music

Ridge Racer arrived in arcades in November 1993, pairing textured 3D racing graphics with music that demonstrated the close relationship between games and techno. Successive releases brought more memorable music and helped establish the enduring Ridge Sound.

For the series' twentieth anniversary, its own composers revisit music selected from more than two hundred pieces. These new interpretations are joined by continuous DJ medleys drawing on the wider series. A NAMCO SOUNDS and SWEEP RECORD partnership brings together twenty years of Ridge Sound in a celebration of both its history and its possibilities.
