Space Sheriff Gavan Movies

Celebrating forty years since Space Sheriff Gavan began broadcasting, Space Sheriff Gavan The Movie returns in an affordably priced edition.

Japanese astronauts Geki Jumonji, played by Yuma Ishigaki, and Toya Okuma, played by Takuya Nagaoka, head to Mars aboard the space shuttle Kanata. The shuttle is lost, and both men disappear. A year later, remnants of the space-crime organization Makuu attack SARD, the astrophysics research and development organization where their childhood friend Itsuki Kawai, played by Yukari Taki, works. Space Sheriff Gavan saves Itsuki in the nick of time, and his identity is none other than Geki. Itsuki welcomes their unexpected reunion, but Makuu has stolen data from SARD.

Back at Galactic Union Police headquarters on Planet Bird, Geki and his partner Shelly, played by Suzuka Morita, are reprimanded by Commander Qom, played by Toshiaki Nishizawa. Geki is not yet an officially appointed Space Sheriff. Secretary Elina, played by Honoka, intends to dispatch other Space Sheriffs to Earth, but Qom understands Geki's powerful desire to protect his home planet and gives him another chance.

The disc contains the film, a teaser and the theatrical trailer. The cast features Yuma Ishigaki, Takuya Nagaoka, Yukari Taki, Suzuka Morita, Toshiaki Nishizawa, Honoka, Riki Miura and Hiroaki Iwanaga in special appearances, and Kenji Ohba.
