Sukima Switch Soundtrack The Movie Live Blu-ray

Sukima Switch explores a new idea: the fusion of manga and music.

Soundtrack was a special, one-night-only concert held at Nippon Budokan on December 22, 2021. Original manga created exclusively for this performance was published in advance on Twitter and web manga sites, with Sukima Switch's songs adding colour to each story as its soundtrack. It was a new experiment for the band.

The original stories were written by Nami Kishida, a writer and essayist who has published many books and also works as a commentator, with artwork by young manga artists. The quality of the work and its moving stories spread across the internet. On the day of the concert, the manga was projected on the venue's screens, and the audience followed the stories while listening to the music performed on stage. Experienced through both sight and sound, the four stories became something that brought fresh interpretations and emotion even to people who had already read the manga.

This release introduces multi-angle viewing for the first time, allowing viewers to switch between views of the whole stage, the live performance and the manga footage. It is an elaborate video release that lets you experience every aspect of this ambitious performance.
