Tokyo Disney Resort Variety & Events

Revisit an expanding world of discovery, the excitement of never knowing what will happen next, and treasured Tokyo Disney Resort memories. Released during the Grand Finale of its 35th anniversary year, this selection preserves popular seasonal entertainment from the resort’s opening through 2018. These shows made their Blu-ray and DVD debut in uncut form, although some scenes differ from the original performances for rights-related reasons.

Usatama on the Run! gives Disney Easter a different theme through a comical chase. Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends try to catch runaway Usatama with giant vacuum cleaners, insect nets and special detectors. In the energetic summer show Soryo Kobu: The Final, fire and water accompany a dance contest between four teams performing different styles. When the teams gather to decide the winner, Maleficent suddenly interrupts.

Disney Halloween Parade: Let’s Go Villains! begins with Mickey and his friends enjoying a Halloween party in costumes inspired by Disney films and villains. The villains arrive to seize the celebration, declaring themselves its stars, and the Disney friends ask park guests to help them fight back. The nighttime Disney Halloween Parade: Banzai! Villains! brings the villains into the park aboard eerily glowing floats. As they celebrate taking over the party, Mickey and his friends return and join forces with guests to reclaim it.

Disney Gifts of Christmas completes the collection with a castle projection show themed around Christmas presents. Colourful, fantastical seasonal imagery transforms Cinderella Castle, inviting viewers to share a Christmas celebration with Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends.
