Tokyo Disney Resort Variety & Events

Keep the wonder and excitement of forty years of dreams and magic close with Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Selection Part 1. Popular regular shows and special events from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea bring treasured visits back to life through rare park footage. Created for the resort’s anniversary, the collection celebrates performances from the years since its 1983 opening, preserving as much of the characters’ and cast members’ staging as possible. Some shows appear on home video for the first time, alongside nostalgic digest footage looking back over the park’s history. This instalment includes a digest of 1983–1992 and original packaging decorated in the fortieth-anniversary colours.

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade celebrates the procession of light and sound that ran for around ten years from the park’s third year. Stretching six hundred metres from beginning to end, approximately five hundred thousand lights beautifully illuminate the nighttime park.

It’s a Musical World takes Mickey and his Disney friends on a journey through countries around the world in song and dazzling dance. Beginning with It’s a Small World and ending in Japan, this musical show was performed at Tokyo Disneyland’s Small World Stage.

The Legend of Mythica unfolds across the land and water of Tokyo DisneySea’s vast Mediterranean Harbor. Through a story of immense scale and originality, the show celebrates the encounters and joy shared by human beings and legendary creatures. Mickey and the Disney friends invite you into a new world of adventure and imagination.

Remember the Dreams is the castle stage show that brought Tokyo Disneyland’s twentieth-anniversary grand finale to life. A medley looks back over twenty years of dreams and magic, recreating the music, costumes and choreography of earlier park shows and parades.
