World Trigger Original Soundtrack 2 collects 39 tracks centered on the background music from the television anime's second and third seasons.

Based on Daisuke Ashihara's science-fiction action manga serialized in Shueisha's Jump SQ., the anime built a devoted following with its first season from October 2014 to April 2016 and its second from January to April 2021. Season three followed from October 2021 to January 2022.

Kenji Kawai, the composer since the first season, returns with music for the rank wars, Galopoula, daily life and the characters' determination. This collection brings those later-season sounds together on CD.
