Shrink: Psychiatrist Yowai

Young Jump Comics Shrink: Psychiatrist Yowai Vol. 12 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Tsukiko, Jin Nanami, published by Shueisha under the Young Jump Comics label.

It's nothing serious. Yuito Kojima works diligently as a floor attendant at a Kabukicho show pub, but at the urging of his junior colleague Keith, he tries illegal drugs. Despite feeling that something is wrong, he continues using them. Then a dealer offers an even more dangerous temptation. In a Japan said to lag behind in addressing drug problems, Yowai gently reaches out to hidden loneliness and pain. The drug-dependence arc begins, exploring the often misunderstood reality of people who use drugs and their paths toward recovery. A medical-residency story is also included, portraying the young Yowai treating emergency patients, meeting his future fiancee Harumi and forming meaningful connections with others.

This Japanese paper edition contains 208 pages and was released in Japan on April 18, 2024.
